TRCC G For George Red Capsicum & Basil Tapenade 110g

$4.65
Flown by the Australian 460 squadron, 'G for George' was an Avro Lancaster, a British four-engined World War 2 heavy bomber. She was a very lucky Lancaster, completing 95 operations, and flown by 29 different crews, mostly Australians, 'G for George' was damaged 20 times. By 1944, 'G for George' had written herself into the history of the country of the men who flew her. Having completed more operations than almost any other aircraft in RAF Bomber Command, she made the 12,000-mile flight to Australia and is now on display in Anzac Hall within the Australian War Memorial, Canberra.
